The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 569

Hogan stood his ground, his attitude resolute. He wasn't leaving until he got what he wanted.

Katherine snorted. "I can't believe the Thomson family is so ungrateful. My father saved your old man's life, and not only do you refuse to acknowledge it, you steal our pendant. This is outrageous!"

"Insolence!" George roared.

His voice thundered through the living room, making everyone flinch.

The bodyguards behind George stepped forward, their eyes fixed on the Foster family.

George gestured for the bodyguards to stand down, then said slowly, "Mr. Foster, if you continue to make a scene, don't blame me for being discourteous. The Thomson family does things by the book. The matter of the pendant is settled. Please leave."

Katherine glanced at the surrounding bodyguards, which only made her angrier. "The Thomson family is a bunch of bullies..."

Jane was frightened. Fearing Katherine would say something to further provoke George, she quickly stepped in to smooth things over. "Mr. Thomson, please don't be angry. Kathy is just overwrought. But this pendant is truly important to our family. Please, be merciful and return it to us."

Jane tried to de-escalate the situation. She knew the Foster family was no match for the Thomsons, but they couldn't just give up on the pendant. They had to get it back.

George looked at them coldly. "I've made myself clear. You are not getting the pendant. Stop causing a scene here, or I won't hesitate to have security escort you out."

His eyes held a clear warning. He had shown the Fosters enough courtesy and didn't want to waste any more time.

Chapter 569 2

Hogan's face fell.

Mr. Harold continued, "But it doesn't matter. I've found her now, so the pendant is irrelevant. I will spend the rest of my life repaying the debt I owe that little girl."

Chapter 569 3

He knew his daughter had just sealed their fate by offending Mr. Harold, but it was too late to stop her.

Mr. Harold's expression darkened. "Ms. Foster, you are young, yet you speak with such impertinence. The Thomson family operates on facts, and we will not tolerate your nonsense here."
