The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 598

As Dennis was about to leave to make the arrangements, Dylan suddenly stopped him. "By the way, Dennis, I have something to ask you."

Dennis: "Sir, please ask."

Dylan frowned, tapping his fingers on the desk. "You've seen Rebecca's children. Do you think they look a lot like me?"

Dennis wasn't sure why the boss was suddenly asking this, but hearing the question, he nodded eagerly. "They do! The young masters look so much like you. If I didn't know you'd only slept with Emily that one time, I'd almost suspect the four children were yours..."

At the mention of Emily, Dylan's frown deepened.

The thought that the woman from that night was Emily disgusted him more than anything.

But if even Dennis said the children looked like him, could it really be just a coincidence?

After a moment, Dennis suggested, "Sir, would you like me to bring the young masters here for you to see?"

Dylan snapped out of his thoughts and waved his hand. "No, not now. We'll talk about this when I get back. Go book the ticket."

Dennis lowered his head. "Yes, sir."

......

Meanwhile, although Mrs. Austin had hung up the phone, the suspicion in her heart grew like wildfire.

She couldn't make sense of it and decided to tell Jacob.

But when she returned to the family estate, she found that Jacob wasn't there.

She asked Emma, "Where did your master go?"

Emma shook her head. "I don't know. I saw him take a call and then rush out."

Mrs. Austin didn't think much of it. "Fine, I'll wait for him to come back."

And so, Mrs. Austin waited until midnight, when Jacob finally returned.
