Hearing his mother's frantic tone, Dylan frowned. He didn't see what the big deal was.
"Mom, what is it now?" Dylan asked, exasperated.
Mrs. Austin asked urgently, "Dylan, tell me the truth. Are Rebecca's four children yours?"
Dylan frowned. "Mom, why would you ask that? Of course Rebecca's children aren't mine."
Mrs. Austin snorted. "I saw them today. They look exactly like you did when you were a child. How do you explain that?"
Rebecca's children looked like him?
Dylan was silent for a moment before replying, "It's just a coincidence."
Mrs. Austin frowned. "A coincidence? Are you sure you and Rebecca don't have children together?"
"Of course not."
Dylan took a deep breath. He was sterile. How could he possibly have children?
Besides, nothing had ever happened between him and Rebecca. Before their marriage, he had never even met her.
Disappointed, Mrs. Austin hung up. But a seed of doubt had been planted in her heart.
After Dylan hung up, a flicker of doubt also arose in his own mind.
Just then, Dennis walked in. "Sir, we have a problem."
