Rebecca’s eyes widened in disbelief when she spotted William. “William? What are you doing here?”

William ignored her question, his gaze drifting toward the stage where Isabella was dancing.

“What’s she up to?”

Rebecca, worried that William might get the wrong idea, rushed to explain, “William, this was just pure coincidence! We just came to the bar to unwind, and it happened there was a male dancer… then, somehow, Isabella got picked to go on stage…”

Meanwhile, Isabella was completely oblivious to the commotion below, caught up in the music and thoroughly enjoying herself.

Suddenly, the male dancer paused, grabbed her hand, and leaned in with a grin. “Hey gorgeous, want to feel my abs? Just a hundred bucks a touch.”

What? A hundred bucks just to touch his abs? Isabella had money, but she wasn’t about to throw it away on something so ridiculous.

As she hesitated, she caught a glimpse of William in the crowd. Panic surged through her—she yanked her hand back like she’d been burned. “No, no, I’m broke. Totally broke. Can’t afford it.”

The dancer’s smile vanished in an instant. “Next!”

Immediately, a group of well-dressed women in the crowd started shouting, “Me! Me! I’ll pay you! Let me have a turn!”

Isabella hurried off the stage, her nerves frayed, and stammered as she approached William. “William, what are you doing here?”

William didn’t answer. He just looked at both Rebecca and Isabella with a hint of reproach in his eyes. “You two really know how to have a good time, don’t you?”

Neither of them said a word.

He turned his attention back to Isabella, his tone tinged with mild annoyance. “Next time, don’t drag Becky to places like this. No need to corrupt her.”

Isabella was indignant, muttering under her breath, “Excuse me? Corrupt her? I’m practically a saint, thank you very much.”
