Aiden’s little face was full of concern. He spoke up, worry clear in his voice. “I hope Mom doesn’t get too upset. Getting angry isn’t good for her health. She should always be happy and beautiful.”

Evan, however, raised an eyebrow. “But Mom looks so commanding—so dignified.”

Ethan nodded. “Yeah, she’s amazing.” Clenching his tiny fist in admiration, he added, “Looks like something interesting is about to happen. I just know Mom’s going to show everyone what it means to be the lady of the house.”

Meanwhile, in the living room, Jack was already trembling. As the butler, he had no choice but to step forward when Rebecca questioned them. “Ma’am, I really don’t know what rumors you’re talking about. We’ve always done our jobs properly here at Sunset Villa Estates. No one’s been spreading anything.”

Jack rushed to defend himself. “Ma’am, I swear—I have no idea what you’re talking about. We’re loyal to you and Mr. Austin. We’d never spread rumors.”

Rebecca was silent for a moment before saying, “Alright, if you truly don’t know, I’ll just ask the others. If anyone comes forward on their own, I’ll let it go. But if I find out who’s been spreading rumors behind my back, I promise you, I won’t be so forgiving.”
