Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne) novel Chapter 905

When Charlene got home, she sent Thorne a text message.

"Do you have time tomorrow?"

With Jasmine around, she hadn't found the right moment to bring up their impending divorce.

Even without spelling it out, she knew Thorne would understand exactly what she meant.

A long time passed without a reply.

Charlene eventually set her phone down and went to take a shower.

By the time she stepped out of the bathroom, Thorne had texted back.

"Sorry. I have urgent business matters every morning this week that I can't reschedule. The divorce will have to wait a few days."

Charlene stared at the screen and rubbed her temples. After a long moment, she typed a quick reply. "Got it."

She set the phone down, hesitated, and then picked it back up to send one more message. "Did you tell Jasmine about the divorce?"

Lately, Jasmine hadn't been throwing tantrums or begging Charlene to move back in.

Right as the thought crossed her mind, Thorne's reply popped up.

"No."

Perhaps sensing her train of thought, he sent a follow-up text. "She probably guessed it on her own."

...That made sense.

Back at Dr. Lucas's gala, the drama between her, Thorne, and Vesta had been highly publicized. Jasmine had been there. She might be young, but she was smart enough to piece things together.

Charlene didn't reply, and Thorne didn't send anything else.

It was getting late, so she turned off her phone and went to sleep.

The next morning, Charlene was at her desk reviewing documents when Stewart Ferguson knocked and walked in. He slid his phone across her desk. "The Henderson Group is making moves again."

Charlene looked up and saw a news broadcast featuring Thorne being interviewed alongside Travis Kress, the CEO of the world's top tech firm.

It looked like their companies were entering a deep partnership focused on AI chips and semiconductors.
