"Thanks, Mom," Jasmine said.

She completely ignored Thorne.

Thorne didn't push it, merely asking, "There's a theater next door. Do you want to catch a movie after we eat?"

Jasmine wanted to keep giving him the silent treatment, but the thought of a movie night made her hesitate.

She stayed quiet for a moment before looking at Charlene. "Do you have time to watch it with us?"

The eager anticipation in Jasmine's eyes was impossible to hide.

Charlene couldn't bear to turn her down. "I have time."

Jasmine beamed. "Then let's go right after dinner!"

"Alright."

Thorne handed her his phone. "Pick whatever you want to see."

This time, Jasmine didn't insist on only watching it with Charlene. She scrolled through the showtimes while she ate and quickly settled on a choice. Thorne booked the tickets immediately.

After dinner, they headed to the theater.
