Vesta furrowed her brow.

Maureen pointed a trembling finger at the damages section of the complaint, her face pale. "Look at this."
Vesta leaned in, but Leah saw the number first. She gasped in horror. "Five hundred million? They're demanding five hundred million dollars?!"
Vesta's eyes scanned the page, catching the devastating detail. "It's worse than that. They've requested punitive damages. Five times the initial amount."
That meant Axiom Flux was coming after them for 2.5 billion dollars!
No wonder her parents looked like they were going to be sick.
The news hit the two older women like a physical blow.
Leah was practically vibrating with panic. "How can they do this? Just sue us out of nowhere? We don't even do business with them!"
Logically, she was right. But a giant like Axiom Flux wouldn't launch a lawsuit of this magnitude without rock-solid proof.
In an instant, the entire Hawkins household descended into absolute chaos.
Henley turned to his daughter, his eyes pleading. "Vesta... why don't you reach out to Thorne?"
