Seeing her agree, Dylan stood up with satisfaction, positioning himself in front of her.
Rebecca looked at where the coffee had spilled and realized it was in an incredibly awkward location. With the paper towel in her hand, she found herself unable to act.
"Well…"
"This is…"
Her face flushed with embarrassment. Wiping that spot would be far too mortifying.
Dylan also realized the problem. He awkwardly took the paper towel from her. "Never mind, I'll do it myself."
Rebecca let out a sigh of relief. He should have just said so from the start.
Just then, Dennis suddenly walked in. "Sir."
His voice seemed loud in the quiet office. His eyes quickly scanned the CEO and his wife, noting their unnatural and slightly awkward expressions. Dennis thought to himself, *Did I come at a bad time?*
Dylan cleared his throat to cover his embarrassment, then said to Rebecca, "You can go now."
Rebecca nodded and left without a moment's hesitation.
Once Rebecca was gone, Dennis stepped forward. "Mr. Austin, the lab confirmed it. That so-called maternity report is genuine, not a forgery. The only question now is, we can't be sure who the child is."
At this news, Dylan's brow furrowed deeply. He sat back down in his chair, once again lost in thought.
The doctors had clearly told him he was sterile. How could he have a child?
Could it be that his body was fine after all?
He looked at Dennis and asked, "That woman, Emily, is she still refusing to hand over the child?"
Dennis nodded. "Emily is too greedy. It's clear she hasn't been satisfied yet."
The lines on Dylan's forehead tightened into a deep scowl, his eyes clouded with gloom.

Dennis quickly nodded. "Yes, Mr. Austin."
Dylan waved a hand. "You can go."
Dennis let out a breath of relief, quickly turned, and left the office, gently closing the door behind him.
The more Dylan thought about it, the more his head ached.
Where was this child Emily was talking about?
The questions swirled in his mind like a thick fog.
The entire situation with the child had put him in a terrible mood.
Worst of all, he couldn't let the Austin family find out about this, or it would cause even bigger problems.
