Dylan's lips quirked into a half-smile. This kid certainly had a wide vocabulary.

Still, he felt the need to explain. "I'm not black-hearted. I pay your mommy a very high salary."

In his view, he had always treated his employees well. As his secretary, Rebecca's compensation was definitely generous. How could anyone call him a ruthless boss?

Ethan scoffed at the reply and typed quickly, "Mommy has us to support her. She doesn't care about your stinking money."

Dylan frowned at the message. "Then what do you want?"

Little Princess's Knight No. 1 replied: "We want you to apologize to Mommy. And you have to promise you'll never make her unhappy or tired again. Otherwise, we'll take Mommy far, far away, where you'll never find her."

Dylan stared at the screen, lost in thought.

Was he actually being threatened by a child?

The thought flashed through his mind, and he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Just then, there was a knock on his office door.

"Come in," Dylan called out.

Dennis entered and, seeing Dylan's contemplative expression, asked, "Is everything alright, sir?"

Dylan shook his head. "It's nothing. Just Rebecca's kids accusing me of bullying their mother. Have I?"

Dennis couldn't help but laugh. "Haha, those young masters certainly have a temper. But sir, if I may offer a piece of advice, it's best not to get on their bad side."

He remembered all too well how Jack used to call him every day to complain. Those kids were a force to be reckoned with.

Dylan frowned, ignoring Dennis's advice. After all, Dennis rarely said anything reliable.

Just then, a new message popped up from the user: a fuming emoji.

Dennis couldn't suppress a smile.

Dylan finished signing, noticed Dennis's expression, and frowned. "You may leave."

Realizing his slip, Dennis immediately wiped the smile off his face. "Oh, yes, of course."

The next moment, he saw Dylan pick up his phone again and resume his chat.

Dennis shook his head and quickly turned to leave.

On the other end, Ethan hadn't received a reply from Dylan and sent the angry emoji.
