The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 381

Rebecca turned her head and saw Fitch making his way toward her.

Fitch hadn’t expected to run into Raina here today. His heart started pounding, and his eyes lit up with surprise and delight.

The four little ones overheard and watched as Fitch walked over to their mom. Instantly, their faces scrunched up in concern.

Ethan pouted and muttered, “Look at Mr. Fitch—he’s staring at Mom like he can’t even blink.”

Aiden chimed in, “Maybe he’s totally smitten with her?”

Evan let out a sigh. “Oh, he’s been head over heels for Mom for ages. He’s always trying to win her over.”

Aiden added, “But you know, Mom dressed up for Dad today. Mr. Fitch just got lucky.”

Noah, ever the calm one, said, “Doesn’t matter. Mr. Fitch is just here to make Dad jealous, like we planned.”

Ethan nodded in agreement. “Yep. Just wait—Dad’s definitely going to get jealous when he sees this.”

Meanwhile, Fitch stopped in front of Rebecca, momentarily stunned by how beautiful she looked. His eyes sparkled with admiration. “Raina, you look incredible tonight.”

“Thank you,” Rebecca replied coolly. Her mind was preoccupied with her four kids, and she had little interest in chatting with Fitch. She gave him a polite, distant smile and was about to walk away.

But Fitch stepped into her path, undeterred. “You’re not here for boxing, are you?”

Rebecca nodded. “No, I’m just here with a friend.”

Fitch glanced instinctively at Joyce, quickly piecing things together.

Joyce met his gaze and gave him a slight nod as a greeting.

Her instincts told her that this man was clearly interested in Rebecca.

Just then, Thomas noticed Fitch flirting with another woman and decided to intervene. But as he drew closer, he was surprised to spot Joyce.

“Ms. Gellar?” Thomas’s voice carried a note of surprise.
