The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 378

That adorable little scene was enough to make anyone smile.

Noah stayed silent, lost in thought as he tried to figure out why he’d failed just now.

Rebecca ruffled the kids’ hair, her voice gentle. “Sweethearts, you did great. Your uncle’s an adult, and he practices boxing every day. It’s perfectly normal that you can’t beat him yet. But you were so brave out there—Mom is really proud of you.”

Her words eased the sting of defeat, and the kids felt much better.

They watched as one challenger after another stepped into the ring, only to be taken down by Uncle Samuel. The kids were a jumble of emotions: frustrated that none of the grown-ups could hold their own, but bursting with pride that their Uncle Samuel was just that good.

Rebecca took in the sight of her four little ones, drenched in sweat from head to toe. “Come on,” she said, “let’s go get you changed.”

The four of them nodded and trailed after her to the locker room.

Joyce hurried after them. “I’m coming too.”

No sooner had they left than Dylan strode into the boxing gym with Fitch and Thomas at his side. The three brothers made a striking entrance, their presence impossible to ignore.

Fitch glanced around, a spark of excitement in his eyes. “Well, looks like the place is buzzing today. Pretty lively crowd.”

Clearly, he was thriving on the energy and chaos.

Thomas quickly spotted Samuel in the ring and frowned. “Isn’t that Samuel, the Thomson family’s second son? What’s he doing here?”

Dylan’s gaze followed Thomas’s, landing on Samuel.

Samuel was in the middle of another match, having already knocked out a string of opponents.
