Then Dylan’s voice, calm and unreadable, came through. “How handsome?”

Dennis hesitated, then quickly replied, “Nowhere near as handsome as you, sir!”

He was no stranger to flattery, and it came easily. Sure, Berton was good-looking, but compared to Mr. Austin? Not even close.

Dylan didn’t seem to care, brushing off the news like it was nothing. “It’s just a house manager. As long as he’s competent, his age and looks don’t matter.”

Without another word, Dylan ended the call—completely unfazed.

Dennis stared at his phone in silence for a moment. If Mr. Austin wasn’t worried, why should he be? He was acting like a nervous butler when the king himself was perfectly composed.
