Chapter 15
Until the last drop of blood was drained and could no longer be tortured, Cruz allowed the doctors to treat Angela. Thanks to the timely intervention, Angela didn’t have any major issues. But as soon as she opened her eyes and saw Cruz, she screamed as if she had seen a demon.
“Cruz! Let me go, let me go! I already know I was wrong, I apologized to Nicole, it’s all my fault!”
Cruz nodded slightly, a satisfied expression on his face. This was the script he had set from the beginning. Only when Angela realized her mistake and stopped bullying Nicole would she be able to change her ways.
However, it was still a little short.
Cruz looked at her.
“Since you know you were wrong, stay in the confinement room until Nicole comes back.”
Upon hearing the word, Angela paused for a moment, then began to struggle frantically, crying out and screaming.
“No! Don’t make me go to the confinement room, Cruz, Cruz!”
But her struggles did not earn her any room for negotiation. Instead, Cruz found her annoying and threw her into the confinement room, closing the door tightly and cutting off her last glimmer of hope.
In the confinement room, there was no light at all. Eating, drinking, and even using the bathroom all had to be done in this tiny cage. A

person would go crazy after just one day of staying there.
Cruz ignored Angela and loosened his tic, still feeling irritated between his eyebrows.
“Have you found her yet?”
The assistant stepped forward, “Not yet, I’m sorry, Mr. Yarbrough.”
“With a loud bang, Cruz suddenly smashed the vase beside him.
He didn’t pay attention to the blood flowing from his finger, and spoke lightly.
“Then keep searching, whenever you find it, come back.”
Blood flowed down the palm of the hand onto the ground, the assistant’s head hung even lower, and he quickly left, not daring to speak loudly even to the servants at home.
They all knew that since Nicole left, Cruz’s temper had been getting worse day by day, and they were afraid of being implicated.
Cruz took a deep breath and, ignoring the fearful expressions of the servants, drove alone to the bar.
He opened a private room, ordered a case of wine, and poured it into his mouth one sip at a time. Only in this way could he alleviate the pain in his heart.
His brothers knew he had come to the bar and they all came over to sit next to him.
“Cruz, didn’t he just break up with Nicole? She’s so dramatic, always begging to get back together. Even though they really got divorced this time, who knows, maybe in a couple of days she won’t be to stand it and come back obediently.”

Chapter 15
“Yeah, who doesn’t know that Nicole couldn’t live without you.”
They joked around, but only Cruz knew that he couldn’t live without Nicole.
Since she started pursuing him, he couldn’t leave her.
Cruz gave a bitter smile and gulped it down in one go.
The person next to me saw that there was no use in comforting, we just looked at each other, and in the end, we asked questions that remained unanswered.
“Cruz, you have mentioned divorce to Nicole so many times, this time it’s really happening, shouldn’t you be happy?”
His hand clenched the bottle of wine, not knowing how to express the dark and twisted pleasure in his heart.
Every time he saw her clumsy appearance, he wanted to take a few more glances, so he deliberately teased her, disagreed with her pursuits, and only married her after graduation. However, after marriage, he did not change his previous habits. He liked to see Nicole in a hurry for him. Only in this way could his heart be satisfied. He mentioned divorce 99 times, and Nicole begged him time and time again, until the 100th time, he really lost her.
Thinking of this, his heart felt like it had been stabbed and he couldn’t catch his breath.
