Chapter 21
“I hung up because there was nothing else to do, Cruz. This game is not fun.”
Her voice immediately turned cold, about to hang up the phone, Cruz quickly spoke.
“I wasn’t joking, I have something to design, you know, the Yarbrough Group needs a lot of collaboration designs, and I hope it’s you who will do it.”
Nicole fell silent for a moment. The Yarbrough Group was involved in most domestic products, with an annual design fee expenditure reaching hundreds of millions. This was a very high remuneration, enough to keep their studio well–fed for several years. However, Nicole was well aware that this was deliberately done by Cruz, and there must be conditions waiting for her.
She hesitated, but eventually spoke.
“What were the conditions?”
Cruz clearly breathed a sigh of relief. He had never been so nervous before, but now that Nicole was willing to listen to him, it meant there was still a chance to salvage the situation.

“Come back with me to America, just for day. One day is enough. The headquarters of The Yarbrough Group is in America. After taking on this project, you have to come and take a look, right?”
Nicole agreed.

opportunity to work in the studio, it was important to seize it with backing of the Yarbrough Group, their studio was sure to soar the future.
She and Cruz discussed the time to return to their country and the specific items they would design together. They talked for over half an hour in total. Finally, Cruz couldn’t help but ask her.
“Nicole, are you still angry? I have accepted your dream and agreed for you to continue with your design.”
Nicole chuckled mockingly.
“Cruz, the things I wanted to do, you can no longer stop now.”
After she finished speaking, she hung up the phone directly and shared the good news with the other people in the studio. Only a few people were aware of her entanglement with the Yarbrough Group, so most of her colleagues were excited that she was able to secure such a big deal.
That was the Yarbrough Group!
While everyone was celebrating excitedly, the senior sister found Nicole and asked in a slightly worried tone.
“Nicole, would Cruz be so kind as to give us such a big order? Did you agree to any conditions with him?”
Looking at the concerned expression on the other person’s face, Nicole felt a warmth in her heart. If it weren’t for the help of her senior sisters who spared no effort to assist her, she wouldn’t have been able to integrate so quickly. Therefore, she sincerely felt that agreeing to Cruz’s conditions once was not a big deal.
Nicole smiled, “It’s not an unreasonable condition, I just need personally go back to the country to coordinate. Senior sister, you don’t need to worry.”

Upon hearing that the only requirement was to coordinate the design content, the senior sister breathed a sigh of relief. Ever since she had heard about Nicole’s experience, she had been worried that she would be hurt by Cruz again.
Just because she wasn’t worried doesn’t mean someone else could let it go.
In the evening. Nicole met Braxton, who had a look of anxiety on his face and seemed hesitant to speak as he looked at her.
This state was very strange. Braxton always said what he thought and never overthought things. When had he ever shown this expression before?
Nicole could tell what he was worried about as soon as she thought about it.
“Are you really going back to your country? Sure enough, as soon as he opened his mouth, that was the first thing he said.”
Nicole smiled and said, “Yeah, but don’t worry. I already talked to Cruz. I’m only going back to my country for one day. I’ll finish the handover and then come back. I don’t need to stay in the country. The studio is where I want to be now.”
