So she didn’t want to explain anything about the questions Cruz asked.

“We have already divorced. Whether I am dating, in a relationship, or getting married again, it’s none of your business. Cruz, don’t stay in my house anymore. You are not welcome here”

Cruz’s heart ached even more. He had imagined countless scenarios, but never did he expect Nicole to be so heartless. Her attitude towards him was like that of a stranger

He looked at her steadily, his voice filled with pain.

“Nicole, I know Angela made you angry before, I have already punished her for you. I know I was wrong, I have never stopped loving you: Nicole, will you come back with me? I know you still love me, you are just angry right now. I can wait for you, I can prove to you that everything I say is true.”

“Nicole, you didn’t want me, you clearly loved me so much”

If it were in the past, if Cruz spoke to her like this, she would probably be pleasantly surprised. After all, in their marriage, she always carefully watched his expression, even if she wanted a kiss, she had to ask him for half a day before he would finally give her one

“Was the soup really made for me to drink, not for my ex–husband to see?”

“I wasn’t that naive. Provoking others with such things, hurting others, love is love, not loving is not loving. The soup is also for you. You have helped me a lot.”

“I won’t be polite then, I won’t leave a single bite, it’s all mine. Braxton chuckled, not mentioning what had just happened, as if Cruz was just a passerby who had left after spending the night.”

He placed the pot of soup on the table, took a spoon and sipped it slowly. Braxton did not lie, he really didn’t leave a single drop, almost eating the pot as well. Even the side dishes were eaten completely clean.

This attitude made Nicole can’t help but compare him to Cruz. In the past, no matter what she did for Cruz, Cruz would only take one bite, no matter how hard she tried, he would not take a second bite, often making her think that the food she made was not satisfactory.

Now, seeing someone treat herself so carefully, a smile couldn’t help but appear on Nicole’s lips.
