Chapter 22
Before she wanted to marry Coleman, she asked a lot of people about him.
Who was Coleman’s crush, anyway.
No one told her.
Those rich kids usually looked close to her, but they were actually all Coleman’s friends, so of course no one would sell him out.
She really had no choice, so she called Stanley.
What did Stanley say?
Jensina rolled the window down a bit, and the cold night wind rushed in, making her thoughts even clearer.
Finally remembered that sentence.
He said, Miss, what are we to each other? Why should I answer your questions?
She didn’t even think and hung up the phone.
From then on, I put Stanley on the blacklist.
He kept reminding her, they had nothing to do with each other anymore.
Or you could say, it had nothing to do with it.
In no time, the car was soaked with cold wind, and the temperature was no different from outside.
“Patrick, close the window.”
Coleman was woken up by the cold. He didn’t even open his eyes and was already acting like a capitalist.
–
Gave an order.
Jensina didn’t answer, but her hand went to the button and rolled the window all the way down.
Was it cold.
It was supposed to be cold.
When I got to Oakwood Villa, it was already 3:30 in the morning.
Jensina sat in the car without moving and took out her phone to make a call.
Woken up in the middle of the night, and it was Jensina again. Of course Juanita wasn’t in a good mood.“Are you okay? Do you even know what time it is?”
“Go downstairs.”
“What were you doing?”
V
Jensina glanced back through the rearview mirror, “Picking up your lover.”
“What?”
The light was on in the guest room upstairs.
Jensina spoke right up: Coleman.”
This name still worked. In less than two minutes, the hallway light came on, and Juanita opened the door and came out.
Jensina, still didn’t move, just urged her, “Hurry up.”
She also wanted to hurry back and get some more sleep.
Juanita opened the back car door and saw that Coleman was really in her car, drunk. She frowned and said, “What did you do with him?”

Jensina smiled at her, “If he really did something, would he still ask you to come pick him up?”
“What were you up to?”
Juanita looked at her suspiciously.
Who would push her husband into her rival’s arms.
Jensina checked the time, out of patience, “If you don’t get him down soon, I’ll take him to my place.”
Coleman wasn’t thinking about her and didn’t know she had moved.
But Juanita had enough free time and was totally focused on her, so she definitely noticed.

Juanita couldn’t figure it out. She was just a sweet, obedient girl that everyone knew.
How did he suddenly change his personality like this?
But other people, including Coleman, still thought she was obedient and gentle.
Such a faker!
Juanita struggled for a long time but still couldn’t lift Coleman, a guy who was 1.87 meters tall. She looked at Jensina and said, “Can’t you give me a hand?”
“Oh, okay.”
Jensina answered, got out of the car, and without needing Juanita’s help, grabbed Coleman’s arm and just pulled him straight to the ground.
Coleman drank enough, let out a dull thud on the grass, and found a comfortable position to fall back asleep right there.
Juanita was stunned, “Jensina, are you crazy??”
“You’re not sick, you’re strong, so why don’t you get him in there.”
Jensina said calmly, got in the car, and drove off.
Juanita stood there for a long time and didn’t snap out of it.
She really couldn’t figure out what kind of trick this bitch was up to!
Retreat to advance?
The next day, while she was having breakfast downstairs, these three words suddenly flashed through her mind.
And this trick really worked.
Coleman’s attitude was obviously different from before.
“Where’s Sina? Fredric said she picked me up last night.”
Coleman came downstairs and sat across from her, still looking tired from a hangover, but it didn’t take away from his good looks.
Juanita had already thought of what to say, “Yeah, she went to the clinic, just left.”
He was a bit surprised, “So early?”
“Yeah.”
Juanita nodded, pretending to be calm.
The move was something she’d hide as long as she could, and she wasn’t going to let Jensina get what she wanted.
Retreat, to advance? Dream on!
The leftover alcohol made his stomach ache a bit. Coleman looked at Susana, “Susana, bring out the stomach–soothing soup Sina made.”
Jensina usually just gave the medicinal recipes to Susana and rarely cooked herself.

But ever since she found out he had stomach problems, every time after he went to a social event, there was always some stomach–soothing soup she got up early to make on the table the next day.
After a bowl of it, my stomach felt a lot better.
Susana was stunned for a moment, “Stomach–soothing soup? The young lady didn’t make it… She always made it fresh for you based on your pulse at the time, I can’t do it either…”
It was more than just not doing it.
Even the person didn’t come back.
Coleman’s hand landed on his stomach, frowning a little, “Has she been this busy lately?”
1 haven’t even seen a shadow of anyone these past couple of days, let alone anything else.
Didn’t care about his health anymore.
Before, whenever he felt a little unwell, the girl would boil medicine for him while keeping an eye on him, running back and forth between the kitchen and the study.
Claimed to be his family doctor.
“Uh, yeah, yeah.”
Susana answered a bit guiltily.
Juanita looked at him and smiled, then changed the subject, “By the way, Coleman, didn’t I study traditional medicine in college too? It’s not good for me to just stay with Josh every day. Can you help me get a job?”
Coleman absentmindedly drank his chowder, “Then let’s go to Haystone Hospital, it’s close to home too.”
“Don’t.”
Juanita looked kind of humble and spoke softly, “I haven’t worked since I graduated. No matter how talented I am, I still get a bit nervous seeing real patients. How about I find a clinic to learn at first?”
“If any clinic had a top expert doctor there and was willing to teach me hands–on, that would have been the best.”
Traditional medicine was all about passing things down.
But this kind of thing depended on luck. Taking on a student wasn’t as simple as finding a job. Coleman couldn’t just force someone in.
And reaching the master level, Los Angeles–no, actually, in all of Western United States, there was only Mr. Kline.
But he didn’t say no, “Okay, I’ll figure something out.”
The clinic was busiest in the morning.
Patients kept coming in one after another. Jensina didn’t even move from her seat for hours, until the young nurse came in with a smile and said, “Good job, Jensina, you’ve seen all the patients for today.”
“But just now, there were two patients who wanted to be added last minute. I told them it couldn’t be done, but they didn’t leave and just kept waiting there.”
Jensina took a sip of water, “Then let them in.”
A patient just had a tiny problem.
Jensina quickly wrote the prescription, then took the pulse of the last patient.
She was a grandma almost eighty years old, and someone came with her.
Grandma was very thin and dressed simply, but she still showed an undeniable elegance in her manner. When she came in, she closed the door behind her and left the people with her outside without mercy.

Jensina finished checking the pulse and pulled her hand back. She spoke gently, “Grandma, where do you feel uncomfortable?”
Grandma was unhappy, “You’re a doctor, aren’t you? Didn’t traditional medicine just take the pulse to know what’s wrong?”
“Really would know.”
Menu
Jensina was famous for being patient with her patients, always just smiling, “But your pulse was fine, there shouldn’t be anything wrong with your body. At most, you were just a bit anxious or stressed. You didn’t need any medicine, just improve it with some food therapy.”
She had light makeup on, so you couldn’t tell her complexion, but when she talked, she sounded really energetic.
Almost eighty years old, having this kind of health was really lucky.
“Who said that?”
Hearing that, Grandma turned around anxiously to take a look. She saw the clinic door was still tightly shut, so she let out a sigh of relief and raised her voice, “I don’t feel well, I feel bad all over!”
“My grandson was almost forty and still single, you think I could feel okay?”
Jensina looked at the age on the medical record and said, “Almost forty?”
Grandma was seventy–eight.
If you went by the legal marriage age, the grandson should’ve been just a bit over thirty at most.
Grandma said confidently,***** old, isn’t that basically a man heading for forty? If he still doesn’t find me a granddaughter–in–law, won’t I be worried to death? Hurry up and give me some medicine, I need to take it.”
Old man.
Jensina suddenly thought of Coleman, then thought of Stanley, who was the same age as him.
She nodded sincerely, “Yes, you’re right.”
“How about I give you some herbs to moisten dryness and calm your mind?”
