Noelle turned her attention to Wyatt's leg. "Is your leg feeling any better?"
Wyatt touched his leg and replied, "It's much better now. Most people won't even notice anything wrong as long as I'm careful with how I walk."
She looked a little guilty. "I'm sorry, Wyatt. I didn't think he'd be so ruthless. Don't worry. I'll avenge you in the future."
Wyatt's eyes flickered with guilt. Carl already told him that the matter of his broken leg was pinned onto Cedric, that Cedric broke his leg to threaten Noelle into submission.
Cedric was given the blame just like that.
Wyatt quickly replied, "It doesn't have anything to do with you, really. You don't need to blame yourself for it. You just need to focus on recovering."
There was no way Noelle would believe that it had nothing to do with her. Wyatt's leg would not have ended up broken if it were not for her, after all.
Donovan immediately chimed in, "Your brothers will take care of everything for you. Just focus on your pregnancy for now. There's no need to think about anything else."
Noelle replied, "Donovan, once I'm recovered, I'm definitely going to make that scumbag pay for what he has done. I was blinded by love back then, but I've finally come to my senses now. I won't make the same mistake again."
Donovan's throat tightened in response. It had been so long since he saw Noelle taking on their side. But when she said that she would not make the same mistake again, he could tell that she was completely serious.
Noelle had always been like that with the Liddells. She never forgave anyone who hurt her.
For a moment, Donovan had no idea what to say in response. After some time, he eventually replied, "Let's wait until your baby is born before we worry about revenge."
Noelle gently touched her belly and said, "Yeah, we've got plenty of time anyway. But regardless, I'm definitely not letting that scumbag off the hook.
"He's even got his men surrounding the island right now. You guys must be having a hard time dealing with him."
