After visiting Noelle, Frank shared his thoughts with the rest of his brothers.
Donovan was rather confused. "Does Noelle really not remember anything? So she's really seeing us as her brothers?"
He actually also felt guilty toward Noelle, which was why he never dared to go see her, even until now.
But hearing Frank's account of what happened made him feel a little hopeful. He actually wanted to see Noelle treat him like an older brother again.
Frank nodded. "That's right. Noelle really doesn't remember anything from before. Carl tried to test her with a photo of Alfred, and she didn't recognize him."
Wyatt exchanged a glance with Donovan and said, "Then I'd like to go visit Noelle, too. Is that okay?"
Frank replied mockingly, "Of course you can, but you might wish you hadn't done that after visiting her. It'll only make you feel worse."
Donovan spoke up. "We're going to have to see her sooner or later. She might even start getting suspicious if we don't show up before her.
"Since she really doesn't remember anything about the past, I want to take this opportunity to build a better relationship with her. Consider it my way of making up for what I've done."
"Just go if you want. Carl hasn't stopped anyone from visiting Noelle so far. Just make sure you don't let anything slip about her past."
"Relax. I know what to do." With that, Donovan and Wyatt headed to the treatment room. They, too, wanted to see what Noelle looked like when she no longer held any resentment toward them.
So much time had passed that they could barely even remember what it had been like to get along peacefully with their younger sister.
They had all overlooked Noelle's efforts back when Xenia was still around, so they did not have many good memories of moments between them and Noelle.
It had mostly been Noelle, cautiously trying to please them. When Donovan and Wyatt arrived at the treatment room, the people standing outside reminded them what they could and could not say one more time.
