Blake replied, "Didn't that Aaron guy say that he wanted to have a word with you? Why not go talk to him and see what he wants?

"Noelle's still in his hands. The longer we wait, the more danger she's in. Who knows what he might do to her?"

Carl explained, "Aaron won't do that. I know what he wants. He won't do anything to Noelle before he gets his hand on the island."

Blake grabbed Carl by the collar and roared, "How can you guarantee that exactly?! What right do you have to guarantee that even? Didn't you do something to Noelle when you took her away?

"You have harmed Noelle yourself. What makes you think someone who's supposed to be your enemy won't harm her as well? Can you even imagine just how badly he'd torture her?!"

He was thoroughly enraged.

Lucas walked over and said, "Carl, are you that reluctant to give up this island? The island was never yours in the first place, right? You used some underhanded tricks to take it for yourself in the first place."

His words immediately triggered Carl.

Carl smashed the bottle onto the floor and glared at both Blake and Lucas. "Who do you think you are to lecture me?! Didn't you both agree to this plan when I first proposed it?!"

Blake replied, "I never agreed to it from the very beginning. It was you who had Donovan knock me out and lock me up at home!"

"But you still went along with the plan when you attended the funeral, didn't you?"

Blake was stunned. After a while, he said, "That's because I already learnt about what you've done to Noelle, so I kept quiet for the sake of both you and the rest of our family. I never agreed with what you've done."

Carl pointed at Blake's face and replied, "Listen to yourself. Do you even believe in what you're saying?

"You're just hoping that I take the fall for everything so that when either Noelle reconnects with us or finds out about the truth, you'd be deemed as innocent, isn't it?! You just wanted me to be the scapegoat!

"Do you think I don't know what you're all thinking? We're all the same when it comes to just how selfish we can be. None of us is any better than the others."
