Carl's expression sank upon hearing what Wyatt said. He sat down on the chair and said, "That's impossible. I've already dealt with him myself."
Wyatt continued, "Aaron Fetterman, right? Didn't he jump into the sea at the end of it all? You never saw his body with your own eyes, so how can you be sure that he's really dead? Given his personality, he'll definitely come back for revenge if he's still alive."
"That's enough," Carl clutched his head, seemingly unable to accept such an outcome.
Frank sensed the danger of such an implication and grabbed Carl by the collar. "If it really is the former manager of the island, then isn't Noelle in danger?"
Carl did not respond.
Wyatt nodded and said, "Exactly. If it really is Aaron, then things are worse than we have imagined. He would never let us off easily, even more so for Noelle."
"Then get in contact with him and begin negotiations already!"
Frank turned to Carl and continued, "Weren't you the one who swore to me that everything would be fine? Is this what you call fine?!"
Carl roared, "What makes you think you can question me now?! You were the one who went diving with Noelle! She got taken away because you couldn't protect her!"
Carl and Frank then broke into a heated argument.
Wyatt got a massive headache as he watched from the side. He quickly stepped in between them and said, "Stop it, guys. This isn't the time to be pointing fingers. We need to figure out a way to find Noelle as soon as possible, or she'll be in real danger."
Frank was livid. "Carl, weren't you really confident that nothing would go wrong? What the hell do we do now?!"
Carl replied, "I've already sent out my men to search for Noelle. There's been no sign of her in any of the border crossings or immigration records, which means that she's still here."
