Cedric replied, "Then let's do as you say. I'll have someone secretly look for Carl's colleagues whom he most likely took revenge on. I'm sure they'd love to get their own revenge, too."

Noelle nodded. "Right. I won't let the Liddells get away with this."

Cedric held her in his arms, reluctant to let her go. He looked at her and said, "I've been dreaming about finally finding you every night, but I would quickly realize that it was just a dream whenever I woke up. It felt really awful."

It did feel extremely awful. But thankfully, his dream had finally come true.

Noelle clung tightly back onto him with her arms wrapped around his waist. "Me, too. I missed you so much."

Cedric leaned in for a kiss. There was nothing else that could reassure him more than that everything before him now was reality. He was genuinely afraid that everything he was seeing now was just another dream.

Noelle wrapped her arms tightly around his neck and kissed him back. Perhaps only by being this close and intimate with each other could they truly feel that they were no longer just dreaming.

To be intimate with the person you love the most would be the only thing that could help them confirm that their presence was real. They finally stopped when they were both completely exhausted.

Noelle's throat was getting a little dry, and Cedric reached for the water by the bed and handed it to her. She then took a few slow sips while being wrapped in the blanket.

Noelle looked at the man in front of her and said, "I think we didn't use protection."

Cedric came outside when they did it in the bathroom, but just now, they hadn't even noticed. He reached out to her face and said, "Let's get married when we get back, alright?"

Noelle clutched the cup of water tightly and replied, "Who proposes at a moment like this?"

"I don't want to lose you again after everything we've been through. I don't want to waste any more time."

His tone was firm, leaving no room for refusal. Noelle realized that the man in front of her had changed.
