My Big Bad Alpha novel Chapter 14

"Well Alpha Quinn, what is it going to be?" The enthusiasm in his revolting voice was pissing me off even worse.

I glanced down at Rayne, who looked paler than she did a minute ago.

Eli was a smart rogue, I'll give him that. His men captured Nikolai and Oliver who I had waiting nearby. I ordered them not to fight back, or else Rayne would die and I can't have that.

Every plan I thought of, every plan I calculated ended the same.

Rayne dying, and it's too risky to say 'Fuck it and try'. I don't know this rogue and I'm not taking any chances.

The odds were against me and so was time. Rayne was bleeding out and I recently learnt his knife's blade is laced with wolfsbane and silver, a very deadly combination. She needed the pack doctor or else either way, she will die.

"Let my mate leave to the doctor first." I growled out.

Eli wagged his finger and shook his head at me.

"No no no Quinn. None of th-"

"She is dying. And I will not do Shīt unless she is taken care of. Your call Eli." I added, while interrupting him and I saw his face twitch.

Using his wolf speed, I saw his blur go to Rayne's side and now she was in his arms. I wanted to grow. My wolf neither I didn't want another man touching our mate but I held back my possessive side. Her getting better was more important.

I watched her warily, as he slowly strides towards me holding her almost limp body. She looked....No, she isn't.

Eli glared at me and I smirked back at him then focused on Rayne again.

I need a plan. And a fast one. If it comes down to it, I will give up the pack for Rayne but I want to lose neither of them to Eli but it seems I have no choice.

Just in that moment, I saw Rayne's eye open and she......winked at me?

Rayne's POV

God this hurts more than period cramps. Holy shit, but I can do this. All I need to do is keep myself awake. My wolf was weak and she couldn't run the silver out of my system anymore. She had gotten rid of a general amount but there was still some in me.

I listened to what Eli was saying and it pissed me off so bad that he was the reason my life got messed up and my parents were gone.

I calmed myself down so Quinn and Him wouldn't realize I was awake,but I knew Quinn knew. I know he felt it through our new link.

I had a plan, well it was probably a shitty plan but it was all I have.

All I needed was for Eli to get close enough.....

Suddenly I felt myself being picked up and the lack of sparks on my skin told me it wasn't Quinn for sure.

I peeked open my eye and saw it was Eli, bringing me to Quinn so I could go to the doctor. My mate was watching me and I winked at him then shut my eye again.

Perfect.

"Trevor!" I heard Eli shout and the sound of feet thudding came closer.

"Yes Alpha." A voice responded.

"Take this girl to our pack doctor." Eli said with disgust in his voice.

No no! I'll lose my chance.
