Ill Fated Love novel Chapter 19

Caroline took off Miles' shirt. Miles suddenly grabbed her hand and muttered something.

Caroline leaned over to listen and heard something, "Don't die". The fire of jealousy in her heart burned again.

What kind of drug did Alice give him?

Now that she died, why did he still think about her!

Caroline rubbed Miles' shirt. She was afraid that Miles would suddenly wake up. She took out the hiding aphrodisiac.

She poured the powder into the glass and shook it. Seeing that the powder disappeared into the water, her lips formed a smile.

"What are you doing now?"

Miles' voice suddenly appeared behind her. Caroline was shocked. She shook her hand and the cup fell to the ground.

Water splashed everywhere.

"No... nothing." Caroline hurriedly crouched down and picked up the fragments on the ground, but accidentally stabbed her finger with the glass fragment.

"Ah!" She cried out miserably with her fingers in her hands and looked up at Miles with tears in her eyes, trying to arouse his sympathy.

An instant of anxiety flashed through Miles' eyes, but it was instantly covered by deeper suspicions. His head was actually not very clear at this moment, but he still insisted on squatting down and dipping his finger into the water stains on the ground.

It tasted familiar.

He raised his head and looked into Caroline's panicked eyes, asking, "What is this?"

Caroline tried to calm herself down and said with a trembling voice, "You're drunk. I wanted to pour you a glass of water to drink, but I didn't expect that you would suddenly wake up."

After saying that, her eyes were already filled with tears as she looked at Miles pitifully.

Miles sighed. He had just opened his eyes when he saw Caroline waving her glass, as if she was about to shake something even. His heart was filled with suspicion.

It turned out that she only wanted to give him a glass of water. He was too suspicious.

He reached out and touched Caroline's hair. His eyes suddenly glanced at a piece of paper in the garbage can.

He picked up the piece of paper without thinking, and when he saw the words on it, the veins on his forehead exploded.

"You drugged me?" Miles held the piece of paper and questioned.

Caroline withdrew her hand that she had no time to stop him and she grabbed Miles' arm. She said anxiously, "Miles, listen to me. It's not like what you think."

Miles sneered. The anger of being tricked instantly rushed into his head. He held the piece of paper in his hand, as if he was holding onto his ridiculous love for Caroline.

"Alice died for several days, yet you can't wait to drug me. Caroline, I didn't expect you to be such a person!"

Caroline sobbed.

"I don't want to do that, either. Miles, I've liked you for so many years, but you never touched me. I'm scared. I don't know how to get you..."

Miles took a deep breath. It was precisely because he liked you that he wasn't willing to touch you. He put you in his heart and even made things difficult for Alice. He didn't expect you to be ungrateful and can't wait to climb onto his bed!

"How long have you been thinking like this?" He asked Caroline calmly.

"I forgot that you don't know how to drink. Anyway, but now you are dead. It doesn't matter if you try It."

...

Grandpa Wilson's men finally found Miles sleeping on the reef at dawn.

Miles was brought to Grandpa Wilson.

"Let's see what you look like." When Grandpa Wilson saw Miles' decadent appearance, he was so angry that he almost broke the teacup in his hand.

"Alice was died. She deserved it! The child she isn't yours. Just find another woman. Didn't you like Caroline very much?"

When Miles heard Caroline's name, he reflexively raised his head, and then his gaze dimmed again.

He tugged at the collar of his shirt and said coldly, "Don't mention Caroline."

Grandpa Wilson glared at Miles. Actually, he didn't like Caroline either, but now that Alice was dead, if his son really liked Caroline, he could marry her.

After all, the Wilson's property needed someone of the Wilson to inherit.

"I also heard about what happened between you and Caroline last night. Actually, it's nothing. Caroline likes you, so it's normal for her to be anxious. Didn't you like Caroline very much before? This time, you should marry her over and have a good life for the two of you-"

However, Miles kept his head down and didn't say anything. His attitude had already explained everything. He was so angry that Grandpa Wilson wanted to beat him to death.

"What exactly happened to you? When you married Alice two years ago, you were reluctant. You only admitted that Caroline was your wife. Why are you so unhappy now that you've finally married her?"

Miles raised his head and said with certainty, "I think Alice is still alive."
