To Alice's relief, Miles returned with the children in two days.
Just when she thought things were back on track, not more than twenty days after the last time, Miles knocked on her door with the children.
The reason for the visit is that the summer vacation is over and the children will not do their summer homework.
Alice could say nothing. They can't finish the summer homework of the first class. Can't you do it?
Was it worth running all the way here?
However, Alice still opened the door and let them in under the attack of the two children hugging her legs and acting coquettish and cute.
Habit is a terrible thing.
Year after year, when the child went to primary school, Alice discovered that Miles had come to her place more than twice as long as he had stayed in the country. He had already lived in the side bedroom downstairs for three years.
In the three years, Miles almost moved his work to this small guest bedroom. Eric and Eason grew up, and William went to college in China. This place had almost become their home.
Alice grabbed Miles, who took off his shoes and walked in naturally, and whispered, "What exactly are you doing?"
Miles raised his head and said innocently, "I'm chasing you."
Alice grabbed his hand and was frozen there.
Miles suddenly thought of a possibility. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Alice dangerously.
"You haven't felt it all this time, have you?"
Alice loosened her grip and began to laugh, "I bought some food for Eric. I'll go get it for them first."
"Alice, you really don't know, do you?" Miles grabbed her wrist the second she turned around.
"I know, why don't you--" Alice continued, "I know. Why don't you--"
Before she could finish speaking, a ring was placed on her finger, and then Miles' fiery kiss blocked her lips and tongue.
