Alice looked at William with a puzzled expression.
She pursed his lips, scratched her hair, and pointed at Miles, who was busy in the kitchen.
Alice said, "What are you thinking? I've told him that they'll be back in a few days."
William didn't believe what that fellow in the kitchen said. He set a precedent. In the future, Miles remembered to stay here for a few days. Sooner or later, he had to coax Alice back to his country.
He looked at Alice with hatred, and was so angry that he didn't say anything.
Alice pulled his hand and said, "Alright, alright, I like you very much. They even call you uncle."
William snorted, "I don't want to be their uncle."
Alice knew that he is good man, so he would be fine if she coaxed him in a low voice.
At night, William stayed for dinner. The two men at the table were scolding each other. Alice concentrated on helping the two children eat, pretending that she didn't see anything.
"Mom, can I sleep with you?" In the evening, after bathing, Eric received his father's instructions and said pitifully, wrapped in a small towel.
Before he could finish his sentence, Eason also said, "I want to sleep with you, too."
So Alice went to bed with his two sons, leaving Miles to sleep alone in the guest room.
Under the warm blanket, a small head popped out and looked at Alice.
Eason, on the other side of Alice, he slept soundly. She tucked the little guy in and turned around to ask him about the uncomfortable Eason.
"What's wrong? Aren't you used to sleeping?"
Eason shook his head.
Alice touched his head and said, "Do you have something to say to me?"
