Chapter 710

The room was dark, lit only by the thin glow of the tablet in Falcon’s hand. His face reflected faintly across the glass surface, cold, rigid, impossible to read. In front of him, a man stood with his head slightly lowered, waiting without daring to speak.
“Say it again,” Falcon said at last, his voice low and even.
“The girl was seen at a shopping center, sir,” the man replied quickly. “We confirmed it through surveillance footage and direct observation. She was with a woman believed to be Cale Miller’s wife.”
Falcon didn’t respond immediately. His finger slid across the screen, bringing up the image he had just received. Naomi’s face appeared clearly, captured from a distance. Beside her, the woman presumed to be Cale Miller’s wife walked on, unaware of anything.
“There she is,” Falcon murmured.
He zoomed in on the image, studying every detail of Naomi’s face as if searching for something no one else could see.
From the moment he first met her, there had been something different about Naomi. Her beauty carried a distinct edge, with East Asian features that stood out effortlessly. Her gaze had been clear, yet sharp. And there was something else, something he could never quite ignore every time he spoke to her. She hadn’t been easy to bend, but circumstances had forced her to yield in the end.
And because of that, he wanted her more than anything.
“You’re certain this woman is Cale’s wife?” he asked without looking away. Without realizing it, his fingers remained fixed over Naomi’s image.
A faint smirk touched his lips as he imagined meeting the girl again, the one who had forced him to leave Berlin. Falcon did not intend to fail. He would bring her back.
“We’ve verified her identity,” the man answered. “Lydia Miller. Clean background. She works at SunCity and has strong family
connections there.”
Falcon gave a slight nod, though his gaze didn’t shift. “She’s not important.”
The man fell silent for a moment.
Falcon zoomed the image out, his attention returning fully to Naomi. “We have our target,” he said quietly. “She’s the one we’re after.”
“What are your orders, sir?” the man asked carefully.
“Bring her to me.” Falcon shut the tablet and leaned back slightly in his chair. “Chase them,” he added, his tone unchanged. Don’t let them get away too easily.”
The man nodded at once, “Yes, sir.”
Falcon continued, just as calmly, “And make sure they understand.”
“Understand what, sir?”
Falcon turned his head slowly, his gaze sharp and cold. “That they’ve crossed the wrong person. Especially Cale Miller,”
The order was carried out without delay.

Falcon had nothing left to do but wait for the moment he would finally see Naomi again. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a cigar, lighting it with deliberate ease before taking a slow draw. The burn of it paired with the vodka set before him. Then, as if savoring the anticipation, he turned his chair toward the floor-to-ceiling window, the city of Hong Kong sprawling beneath him in a sea of distant lights.

A while later, the same man stood before him again. This time, his breathing was slightly uneven, though he tried to conceal it. “We… lost them.”
Falcon didn’t move. His expression didn’t change. He merely glanced at the man before turning back to his cigar, taking another slow draw as if the report meant nothing at all.
And that was precisely what made the man lower his head even further.
Silence, from someone like Falcon, was never acceptance. It was something far more dangerous. Don Falcon was not known to shout when he was angry.
