The Impossible Divorce novel Chapter 15

Brady lowered his head in disbelief as he looked at the blood gushing out of his abdomen. Sophia was still holding the scissors in her hand. The tip of the scissors was dripping with dark red and viscous blood.

Sophia's face was filled with tears as she said with trembling lips, "Brady, let's stop here. This should have ended long ago. I will return the life my mother owed you now!"

With that, she stabbed her neck with the scissors in her right hand!

"How dare you?" Along with a furious roar, Brady ignored his injuries and rushed over to grab the scissors in Sophia's hand. The scissors slashed across her snow-white neck, leaving behind a bloody line.

Brady did not feel that the blood in his abdomen was flowing fast. He carefully covered the wound for Sophia with his big palm, and his eyes erupted with rage.

"Sophia! Your life is also mine. You are not allowed to die without my orders!"

This farce of suicide and murder ended with Finley forcefully sending both of them to the hospital.

Sophia, who had come to the hospital countless times, was already used to it. Moreover, this time, it was a minor injury. After dressing her up, the doctor told her to let her rest.

Lying on the hospital bed, she couldn't sleep and tossed. Her heart was so nervous, and she actually stabbed Brady...

Just as she was thinking about how Brady would take revenge on her, the ward next door, which was just a wall away from her, was also talking about her.

Brady's abdomen was wrapped in a thick layer of gauze. His face was gloomy as he lay on the hospital bed. His ears were bearing the fragmentary thoughts of his good friend Finley.

The content was nothing more than Sophia stabbing him on impulse. Don't argue with her...

Finley's mouth tongue was dry. Brady, who had been silent all this while, tilted his eyes and said, "Did I ever say that I would not forgive her?"

"Ah?" Finley instantly got stuck, and a subtle smile appeared on his beautiful face.

"What, your mind has finally been normal?" He teased Brady.

Brady rubbed the scissors that he had snatched from Sophia with his fingers. A trace of doubt appeared in his cold eyes, causing him to involuntarily ask in front of his good friend. "What exactly happened between us these past few years?"

Finley gracefully rolled his eyes, "The biggest problem between you two is that you are too stubborn. No one listens to anyone, no one is willing to admit defeat, and in the end, you are become like this!"

"But..."

Finley hurriedly made a stop gesture. Seeing Brady's bloodshot eyes, Finley's tone softened.

"With your four-year relationship in college, why don't you try to trust her once?"

Sophia was tossing on the bed when she saw Brady walk in from the door of the ward. She was so scared that she almost rolled off the bed.

Brady walked to the hospital bed from the door. Sophia's gaze swept over the gauze stained with blood on his abdomen and couldn't help but wrap up the blanket and move back.

Sophia, "..."

Brady easily picked up Edwin, who was already over 50kg, and turned around a few times. When he put him down, he raised his eyebrows at Sophia provocatively.

Sophia gritted her teeth. This bastard actually abducted her innocent younger brother.

Edwin was born with a low IQ and a slight tendency to autism. It was also because he, Sophia's mother, including the two siblings, had been disliked by The Allen Family. His father had personally delivered his daughter to Brady in order to quell his revenge.

Sophia sniffled and reached out to touch Edwin, who was stuck to Brady's side and focused on playing with the building blocks. In her life, the person that she couldn't care about the most was Edwin. Now that she saw her younger brother safe, everything she insisted on was worth it.

"What about it? I told you I didn't treat him badly." The tall and handsome man suddenly spoke.

Sophia pinched her palm and said, "Why does he call you brother-in-law?"

Brady raised his eyebrows and said, "Am I not his brother-in-law?"

Sophia was speechless as she silently turned her head around.

Behind her, the man's voice sounded, "Sophia, from today on, you are free."
