The Impossible Divorce novel Chapter 35

Sophia's heart stirred. She slowly squatted down, her fingers carefully tracing Brady's saber-like and axe-like face.

The word "home" had once been her greatest yearning, but after a while, "home" had become her nightmare. She had thought that her heart had already turned deathly gloomy, but now that she heard this word, her heart still stirred up a bit.

There were too many misses between them, so much that she didn't dare to entrust her heart to them so easily.

However, in the end, he did not understand.

Sophia's fingers paused slightly, but she suddenly felt a burst of energy. Then, the heavens and earth rotated. In the blink of an eye, a pair of large hands were wrapped around her, and her cheeks were pressed against her chest, which was emitting high heat.

"Hey!" Sophia raised her head angrily.

From her point of view, Brady's usually sharp eyes were tightly closed, and his hot breath sprayed onto her face, causing Sophia's cheeks to heat up.

She couldn't help but reach out and touch Brady's long and thick eyelashes. She had to say that even after leaving him for so many years, the man's face was still tempting.

Brady hugged her contentedly and unconsciously called out her name, as if he wanted to strangle Sophia into his bones and blood.

"Sophia, I regret it. I really regret it. Every day you leave, I live a life worse than death. Every day, every day, I wish I could smash my head into blood to stop missing you a little bit." Brady whispered to Sophia in a weak and soft voice that she had never seen before.

Sophia's eyes turned red. She stretched out her hand and hammered the man's chest, then again.

"If I had known why I was tortured like that, you bastard, you bastard!"

"Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm a bastard. I'm such a bastard. Don't let me be happy. You can return all the pain I gave you back to me. I promise you that you will suffer, okay? Sophia, okay?"

Brady didn't know if Sophia heard his words, but he hugged Sophia even more tightly, revealing his rare sincerity.

This person was either as cold as a rock, so calm that the whole world could not guess what he was thinking, or he smiled cheekily, and his eyebrows were still unable to guess what he was thinking.

Apart from the years when they were passionately in love, this was the first time she had seen such a fragile and soft side of Brady's body, and her heart had also softened.
