Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1650

“Hello, I’m Director Grant. I work with Milka,” he said, reaching out to shake hands.

Mars met his handshake. “Mars.”

Director Grant’s gaze lingered on the little boy in Mars’ arms—Henry. The kid looked oddly familiar, but he couldn’t quite place him.

Mars leaned in and prompted, “Say hi to your godfather.”

Henry obligingly piped up, “Godfather~”

Then Mars nodded toward Milka. “And what do you call her?”

Henry stared at Milka, who watched his lips, eyes full of anticipation. Just as Henry’s mouth formed the word “Auntie,” Mars stepped in, quick as ever. “What do you call your godmother?”

“Godmom!” Henry shouted, his voice ringing out clear as a bell.

Milka’s cheeks turned pink. “It’s Auntie, not godmom~”

Henry only grinned, stubborn as ever. “Nope, godmom it is.”

After all, his godfather had told him: when you see ‘the tough one,’ you call her godmom.

Director Grant’s smile flickered, awkward. He glanced at Mars, sensing some hidden agenda, and, not wanting to linger, made up an excuse about “urgent work” and slipped away.

Left at the entrance, just the three of them.

Milka finally got her wish; she lifted Henry into her arms. The first time she was too shy to plant a kiss, but the second time, after a little hesitation, she bit her lip and kissed his squishy cheek, her heart melting on the spot.

“Goddmom gets kisses too~” Henry giggled, covering his face with tiny hands.

Milka squeezed him tighter, so charmed she forgot all about correcting him to “Auntie.”

Mars watched the scene, quietly pleased. No matter how rebellious his little guy acted, he still won everyone over. “So, why’d you park on the street today? Didn’t use the underground garage?”

“Oh, Leo!” Milka’s eyes widened in surprise. “Wow, Leo’s got a girlfriend now—and she’s gorgeous.”

Anya blushed, ducking her head. “You’re beautiful too, sis.”

Mars grinned. “It’s been ages. Leo’s about to graduate from grad school.”

Milka couldn’t help but warm to the sweet, gentle girl.

Mars turned to Milka, hesitating for a split second—how do you introduce your ex-girlfriend, anyway?

Before he could fumble through it, Henry jumped in, “Sis, this is my godmom—the tough one.”

Mars laughed, ruffling Henry’s hair. “You little rascal… You’re the best!”

Oh, this kid was in for a pile of snacks and new toys when they got home.
