After two hours, she couldn't bear it any longer and walked out of the library.
Almost simultaneously, Marcelo and Howard also stood up and left.
Most of the other students in the library watched as the three of them left.
The expressions on their faces were one of confusion and intrigue.
“What's going on between them?"
“Is that handsome guy familiar with Howard? Or is it Renee he's familiar with?"
“Why do I feel like the aura around those three feels like one of danger? Should we follow them and have a look at what they're doing? They're not going outside to fight, are they?"
“Who would have the heart to hit someone with a face like Renee’s?"
Even though the students were very curious about the issue, considering that it was someone else's private matter and Marcelo looked like someone that should not to be trifled with, none of them followed the trio to see what they were up to.
Meanwhile, Marcelo, after taking a few steps outside the library, glanced sideways at Howard who was right beside him.
His eyes looked cold and unfriendly.
“Mr. King, don't worry. I'm not following you. I'm just looking for Renee," Howard explained when he saw the hostility in Marcelo’s eyes.
He still couldn't quite believe that the man walking freely right beside him was the same Marcelo King of the King family who had been confined to a wheelchair for several years.
“Looking for my wife right in my face...do you think that's an appropriate thing to do?" Marcelo asked with a sneer.
“Your wife is..." Howard couldn't complete the sentence. He was too taken aback by surprise and disbelief that he almost felt he was dreaming.
Not long ago, he saw it on T*****r, but he had told himself that there were many people whose surname was Hudson.
“Her name is Renee Hudson," Marcelo confirmed, crushing what little hope Howard still had.
Shock, crushed hope, disbelief, and a myriad of other emotions swirled in Howard's eyes, ultimately leading to a sense of resentment.
