Howard was about to pick Renee up off the floor, an arm blocked him. "Howard, you're not the right person for this," Marcelo said to him.

Those words left Howard frozen.

Howard understood that Marcelo was asserting his position as Renee’s husband to him.

“He sure is good-looking. But why did you let him take Renee away? Aren't you into her? You should chase after them!"

Howard gave a bitter laugh. "She's out of my league."

“What do you mean out of your league? You've got looks, a great body, a solid family, and talent to boot. What's missing?"

“The guy she's with isn't lacking in any of those areas either."
