“I plan to sleep in, so no, there will be no need for that,” She responded.

“Lunch then?” Marvin persisted.

He sounded like he had been duped.

She knew it was impossible for her to make such an agreement.

“Well, you didn’t outrightly refuse,” Marvin grumbled.

Well, this was one of the benefits of playing dumb. Even if she had rejected him, he could act like he didn’t know.

Renee was shocked by this.

But given the previous incident where she caught Marvin forcibly kissing Sarah, this didn’t sound unexpected after all.

“Renee, do you know how I feel right now?” Sarah mumbled.

“How?” Renee asked curiously.

Sarah rested her chin on her hand and sighed. “I feel like I’m being watched by a wolf,” she sighed.
