Chapter 146 To find Renee

The previous night, Vivian had asked Anna about Marcelo’s schedule because she wanted to come return the jacket.

Anna had promised to notify her, and this afternoon, she called her and told her that Marcelo was free.

After finishing with these documents, he would be able to get off work for the day and go see his wife.

He hoped she was in a better mood.

“I brought your jacket, “Vivian explained and put a big paper bag on the table in front of him. “I even took it to be dry–cleaned.”

When Marcelo heard this, he frowned and said, “But I told you I don’t need it.”

Vivian broke into a smile and said, “Well, I felt you were just being polite to me? Anyway, I’ve dry–cleaned the jacket, and now, I’m returning it to you.”

Frankly, her main purpose of coming was not to return the jacket.

This was just an excuse for her to come and see Marcelo.

When he didn’t say anything in response, she added, “Marcelo, another reason I came here today was to find out when you’ll be free. I want to go visit your brother.”

“How about this weekend?”He suggested. He wasn’t free on any weekday.

But just then, there was a knock on the door and Luke walked in.

“Miss Lambert?” he gasped in surprise when he saw Vivian. He never expected that he would see her in Marcelo’s office.

“Good day, Luke. Long time no see,” Vivian greeted him.
