Cruz had just returned to the hospital when he heard Angela’s voice.

Angela giggled and accepted her boyfriend’s words. This was not the first time Cruz had heard this kind of thing. He knew Angela’s thoughts, but it was never possible. He would only love Nicole, even if they divorced a hundred times, they would remarry again.

Cruz chuckled lightly, not calling her out on her words.

He glanced over and realized that Angela had actually recovered almost completely. Now, instead of taking care of her, he wanted to see Nicole’s happy expression. In the past, whenever he agreed to withdraw the application, Nicole would personally prepare a large table of food to please him. Her careful yet unrestrained love made Cruz fascinated time and time again.

“I went back, you stayed in the hospital by yourself, he said, as he was about to leave.”

There was no gentle and careful feeding as before, nor was there any ambiguous distance that made the heart flutter. Cruz’s cold voice immediately made Angela panic.

She hurriedly got off the sickbed without considering that her injury had not fully healed.

Cruz thought to himself that Angela was following behind.

He arrived at the underground parking lot, ignoring Angela who was running behind him, and went straight to the car. Immediately after, Angela directly opened the passenger door.

“Cruz, why are you in such a hurry today? she complained, panting.”

“Go down, Cruz suddenly said.”

“What? Angela was puzzled, not understanding the meaning behind his words.”
