Chapter 806 Lillian’s Plan
Lillian let out a cold laugh. “I don’t even know exactly what I need yet, so how could you possibly fetch it for me? Of course, if you’re that worried, you’re welcome to come with me.”
Lynette fixed Lillian with a sharp, calculating stare. After a moment of silence, she relented. “Fine. Let’s go. But don’t try any tricks.”
Lillian shot her a mocking look. “I must say, George’s lapdog is certainly diligent. Relax. With all these guards crawling everywhere, what could I possibly do?” She peeled off her gloves, tossed them onto the lab bench, and led the way out.
Lynette followed closely behind.
As they walked, Lillian carefully memorized the layout of the facility, she had to devise a foolproof plan to get her master out of here soon; the longer they stayed, the more his health would deteriorate.
Lynette led her to a heavy door and swiped a keycard. It hissed open.
Lillian stared at the chemical warehouse, genuinely surprised by the vast inventory. “I didn’t expect your collection of reagents to be this extensive.”
“Naturally,” Lynette said with a touch of pride. “Anything you could possibly need is here. So, I suggest you focus on working for Mr. Mildew. You’ll find the rewards are well worth it.”
A glint of cunning flashed in Lillian’s eyes as she nodded. “Quite right. Don’t worry, I’ll work very hard for him. After all, he’s been so hospitable, hasn’t he?”
Looking at the rows of chemicals, she felt a surge of relief. She had been agonizing over how to stage a rescue, and these supplies were exactly what she needed to make it happen.
She stepped into the warehouse and began her selection.
The following morning.
To no one’s surprise, the headlines were once again dominated by scandals involving the Mildew family.
Their stock price continued its aggressive downward spiral.
Arlo was livid as he read the news. It was clear Sebastian had begun his assault. Yesterday, Arlo had assumed Callen was behind the negative press, but it was now obvious he had been mistaken.
Just then, Stellan hurried into the room, looking frantic. /Father, Yvette left yesterday and never returned. There’s been no sign of her all morning. I’ve sent men out to search everywhere she frequents, but her phone is off and we’ve found nothing.”
“What?” Arlo gasped. “She hasn’t been home since yesterday?”
Stellan nodded, his anxiety mounting. “Nothing. Not a trace. I’ve checked every possible location. If it were a kidnapping, we should have received a ransom call by now.”

Arlo’s expression darkened as he stared at the newspaper in his hands. A chilling realization began to dawn on him. “Could it be…”
At that moment, Phineas strolled in, yawning. “What’s all the shouting about? I could hear you the moment I got out of bed.”
