Uriel took a deep, steadying breath. "Fine. If that's how it is, I won't bring it up again. But I expect you to take care of yourself. If you let your own health slip, how do you expect to keep looking for Lilian?"

Sebastian's pen paused mid-air. "I know," he said quietly, before returning to the paperwork in front of him.

Uriel opened her mouth to say more, but the study door swung open and Unno hurried inside.

Catching sight of Uriel, Unno hesitated for a fraction of a second before quickly bowing his head. "Ma'am."

Uriel gave a slight nod. She cast a brief glance back at Sebastian and said, "I'll leave you two to your business." With that, she walked out.

Sebastian watched his mother leave, then turned his intense gaze directly onto Unno. "Did you find something about Lilian?"

Unno's expression turned incredibly grim. "We found a lead. On the morning of her disappearance, Lilian was picked up by Eric. We managed to spot his car on multiple surveillance feeds along the route to the hospital, and Miss Lilian was clearly riding inside."

"What?" Sebastian's eyes widened in sheer disbelief. "Eric?"

The revelation caught him completely off guard, but as he turned the name over in his mind, everything suddenly clicked. In Dracovia, the only people Lilian could truly rely on outside of his own family were the members of the Philips family.

While Eric's medical prowess couldn't match Lilian's, he was still one of the absolute best in his field. This meant that the person who had helped Lilian perform that perilous blood transfusion surgery was highly likely Eric.

"Yes," Unno confirmed. "And to make things even more suspicious, Eric left Dracovia that very same day. The flight logs and navigation routes were wiped clean, so we haven't been able to pinpoint his final destination."

A dangerous light flashed through Sebastian's dark eyes. "The Philips family's main base of operations is in Murica. If he took Lilian, that's almost certainly where they went. It's the territory he knows best, and it gives him access to the most advanced medical facilities and teams in the world."
