Uriel set her glass straight down on the table, stood up, and rushed over. Grabbing the man's arm, she asked, "Foster, where is Sebastian?"
"Yeah, why did you come back alone? Where is Sebastian?" Derrick quickly followed up.
Foster replied in a low, heavy voice, "Lilian told me to come back first. She said to pick up Sebastian in two hours, and that he would be completely fine by then."
"Two hours! Does Lilian mean Sebastian will wake up in two hours?" Greg asked anxiously.
Foster nodded. "Yes. So let's wait patiently for two more hours. In two hours, he will be fine."
Even though those were the words coming out of his mouth, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling on his way back that the girl's parting words were incredibly strange. That desolate smile of hers left an inexplicable sense of unease lingering in his chest.
Regardless, the others all let out a collective sigh of relief upon hearing the news.
Uriel said with a calm expression, "Then we will wait two more hours. But when the time comes, I am going with you to pick up Sebastian. This time, I won't listen to anyone trying to talk me out of it."
Derrick wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Don't worry, we'll all go together when the time comes."
