Claire's POV

Alpha Marcus's power surged. "You dare challenge me in my territory?!"

I moved to shield my Alpha. "Dominic, cease this madness. Our mate-bond is dust!"

Scarlett stepped before him, defending. "His beast calls for you! Return to Silver Crescent. This chaos is your doing!"

"You dare accuse your former Luna?!" My fury barely contained.

She answered with a challenge growl. Her hand rose for a dominance strike, but I caught her wrist, twisting until she submitted.

She whimpered, shifting to wolf form.

I remained in human form - even a Beta posed no true threat. My bloodline carried pure Alpha heritage through my Moon-Mother.

"Scarlett, stand down. You cannot challenge your Luna." Dominic's command surprised me.

His words enraged her. She lunged, but I caught her throat mid-leap.

My partial shift emerged as I lifted her struggling form. "Pathetic Beta! Attack me again and I'll rip your throat before the Moon Goddess herself!"

She whimpered submission. I cast her aside like omega prey.
