No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1487

Blake called Alfred, hoping to get an update on Cedric's situation. As of that moment, Alfred had rushed to the island overnight to join the search party.

He hadn't gotten any sleep ever since he found out that Cedric had been in danger, and he wanted nothing more than to tear the Liddells apart.

Getting a call from someone from the Liddell family enraged Alfred beyond reason. He picked up the call and questioned Blake. "Why are you calling me?"

Blake explained, "I just wanted to know if Cedric has been found yet."

Alfred's voice was ice cold. "What, trying to rub salt on our wounds? Listen, if anything happens to Cedric, that island's gonna be a grave for your entire fucking family. I'll have you face the Greene family's full wrath."

Blake's voice dimmed a little. "I know that. I hope that Cedric's alive, too. He's Noelle's only hope after all."

Alfred was so furious that he felt as if he was about to explode. "What do you mean by only hope? What happened to Noelle? You bastards better hand her over right now!"

Just as Blake was about to tell Alfred that Noelle might be pregnant, Frank pulled him back and shook his head, signaling to Blake not to say anything just yet.

Blake paused and said, "Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help."

"I want you to kill everyone in the Liddell family and then hand Noelle over to us." With that, Alfred hung up the phone.

Blake understood very well why Alfred would be angry. He would feel the same way if the roles were reversed. He turned to Frank and asked, "Why did you stop me from telling Alfred about Noelle being pregnant just now?"

Frank replied, "Now isn't the time to say it. If the baby doesn't survive, telling Alfred about it now will only make Cedric even more heartbroken."

Donovan nodded in agreement. "Exactly. It'll only make Cedric hate us even more. There's no point in telling them about it."
