No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1471

Cedric held the rope and gently ruffled Noelle's hair. Then, he leaned in close and whispered, "I wish you were this behaved at night."

Noelle glared up at him and hissed under her breath, "This guy's unreal."

He let out a low chuckle. After tying her up securely, he pinched her cheek. "Alright, go on then. Time to test your acting skills."

At that moment, the two yachts drew closer. Cedric didn't show himself just yet, but from inside, he could see the Liddells standing anxiously on the deck.

As he stood out on the deck, Carl stared at the people on the other yacht. "Tell him to come out and face me. Didn't he say he wanted to talk?"

One of the men on Cedric's yacht shot back, "Talk about what? Hand over the island, and your sister goes home today."

Right then, Noelle was brought out with her hands and feet tied up. Upon seeing that, Carl grew so anxious that he clutched the railing and demanded, "Let her go!"

"Sure, we can let her go, but have you cleared out the island?"

"It's done. You can head back today; the island is yours now."

Blake chimed in, "That's right. Now that we've all agreed to hand it over, release Noelle already!"

"She'll be released, but not right now because our men will inspect the island first. How else do we know if you won't trick us?"

Carl clenched his teeth as he watched a nearby boat head toward the island.

Just then, Noelle suddenly collapsed to the deck. Carl paled instantly. "She's having an episode! Bring her to me!"

"No way. You brought the drugs, didn't you? Hand it over."

Carl stared at Noelle lying on the ground and was silent for a moment until Blake urged him. "Give them the drugs!"

Frank called out, "What are you standing there for? Are you just gonna watch Noelle die?"
