Carl let out a cold laugh. "Easy for you to say. Even if we hand over the drugs, we can't save Noelle either."

Blake snapped, "What plan do you have then? Are you just gonna stand by and watch her die in front of you?"

"Let me think," Carl muttered, frustratedly grabbing his hair.

"Think about what? Just send the drugs over now! If you refuse to send the drugs, I might as well kill you today." Blake warned threateningly.

Staring at the video, Carl finally nodded. "Send the drugs."

Donovan stepped up to give him a pat on the shoulder and said, "Overthinking won't help. Noelle's life comes first now."

Wyatt cut in. "Why can't we just negotiate and offer them the island in exchange for Noelle's safe return?"

A silence followed, and Carl didn't respond right away.

Donovan gave him a look before stepping forward to say, "Let's call it a day. We'll send the drug and deal with the rest later."

Now wasn't the time to rush Carl into making a choice. After the Liddells left the room, only Carl stayed behind, staring into the empty space.

Outside, Blake fumed. "See that? Carl still won't make up his mind."

"He just can't let go of that island," Wyatt muttered.

Donovan cut them off, saying, "Enough. We're all complicit here, and now, we're a team since we decided to side with Carl in the first place."
