On the other hand, the Liddell brothers had all returned to their respective rooms. Blake did not want to stay in his room, so he went to the beach for some fresh air.
He wondered if he was really just going to wait for Carl to rescue Noelle and was worried that Carl might change his mind.
Blake realized that at that point, the only person he could turn to for help was Cedric.
After thinking about it, he decided to give Cedric a call. The phone rang for a long time before it was answered. Cedric had not expected Blake to call him at all.
He was with Noelle at the moment, so he turned on the speakerphone and asked, "What is it?"
Blake replied, "There's something I need to tell you. Noelle isn't dead. She was taken by Carl to his island."
Cedric genuinely did not expect Blake to tell him that. It seemed like Blake decided to tell Cedric the truth because he was genuinely worried about Noelle's safety.
Cedric's tone turned serious. "Can you Liddells really call yourselves human after all of this?"
"I'm sorry. I know it's pointless to talk about it now, but Noelle got kidnapped by Carl's enemy. I think there's something wrong with Carl. I hope you can come and rescue Noelle as soon as possible."
Cedric replied coldly, "Of course, I'll save Noelle."
With that, he hung up the call.
Noelle had just come out of the shower. She had put on a lot of makeup in order to film the video that depicted her apparent torture earlier.
She spoke up with mockery. "I'll still never forgive any of them, no matter what."
