BONUS CHAPTER
Anna’s POV
After the wedding, Ryan took me somewhere I didn’t even know existed.
The private jet touched down smoothly, and the second the door opened, warm island air wrapped around me softly, and when I stepped down the stairs and really looked around, my breath completely left me.
“Oh my God,” I whispered. “Wow.”
We were standing on Laucala Island, a private paradise hidden deep in the South Pacific, the type people whispered about in billionaire circles, all white sand, endless blue water, palm trees swaying gently, and a massive estate rising in the distance like royalty carved into stone and glass.
It wasn’t empty.
Workers were already lined up neatly, staff in soft neutral colors, waiting respectfully as we stepped down.
“Welcome, Alpha. Welcome, Luna,” they greeted together.
My heart did something strange at the title.
“It’s beautiful,” I said softly, still looking around, still trying to understand that this was real.
Ryan just nodded, his hand warm around mine. “I got it just for you, my love.”
I turned to him slowly. “You bought an island.”
He smiled. “For our honeymoon.”
I laughed, breathless. “You’re insane.”
“And you married me anyway.”
Before I could say anything else, he bent down, slid one arm under my knees and the other around my back, and lifted me effortlessly.
“Ryan,” I laughed, grabbing his shoulder. “Put me down.”
“No,” he said simply. “You’re my wife.”
He carried me straight into the villa.
The room he took me to felt unreal.
Tall ceilings. Floor–to–ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. Soft white and silver fabrics everywhere. Marble floors. The bed was massive, draped in silk and linen, looking less like a bed and more like a throne disguis ed as comfort.
He placed me gently on it.
“I wanted it to feel royal,” he said quietly. “Because you are.”
My chest tightened. “Ryan…”
“There’s something I need to show you,” he added, his voice shifting.
I frowned. “Show me what?”
He took a breath. “Something I’m not proud of. Something I’ve hidden. And I don’t want you finding it later and thinking I lied.”
That caught my attention fully. “What are you talking about?”
“Close your eyes.‘
Thesitated. “Ryon
“Please.”
I did it, even though curiosity burned through me.
One ininute passed.
“Okay,” he said. “Open them.”
I did.
“Ryan!” I gasped. “What is this?”
The wall in front of me was covered.
Portraits.
So many of them that my eyes couldn’t even take them in all at once.
Me.
At different ages. Different moments. Smiling, serious, thoughtful laughing. From when I was younger… all the way to our
