Diana’s POV

“Di!” Gabriel called the moment he saw me. His voice was filled with panic and regret as he hurried toward me. “Look‚ I’m so sorry‚ Di. So fucking sorry.”

He walked straight toward me like nothing had happened between him and my sister.

I stood there‚ confused and tense‚ my eyes moving between Gabriel and Isaac. My mind was still a mess from everything that had happened today.

“What’s going on here?” I asked slowly.

“Di‚” Isaac said softly as he stepped closer. “I was so worried. You left without a word.”

Gabriel suddenly stopped walking and looked between Isaac and me with confusion written all over his face. My heart began pounding hard in my chest.

Did Gabriel know there was anything between Isaac and me?

Oh God. No.

“I… I wasn’t feeling okay‚ so I had to leave‚” I said quickly‚ forcing my voice to sound steady as I looked directly at Isaac.

“What are you both talking about?” Gabriel asked‚ clearly confused as he looked from Isaac to me again.

“She works for me‚” Isaac replied calmly. “At the hospital. She’s my medical secretary.”

His eyes never left my face while he spoke.

“I… I told you I got a job‚ right?” I said nervously. “Well‚ it’s at the hospital.”

I tried my best to keep my voice calm and firm. I did not want to reveal anything more than necessary.

Gabriel looked between both of us again. For a moment he seemed to be thinking deeply‚ then he slowly nodded.

“Then why are you here?” he asked Isaac. “Shouldn’t you be at the hospital if she isn’t feeling well?”

“I’m concerned about my medical secretary’s health.”

Gabriel frowned deeply.

“This doesn’t make any sense—”

“The both of you please leave!" I yelled‚ cutting Gabriel off.

“Di—” they both said at the same time.

“I don’t have the strength to talk to you now‚ Gabriel. Please… leave.”

I was trying so hard to stay calm. My chest burned with anger and pain at the same time.

How dare he try to apologize after what he had done?

How dare he act like evehth was fine and he was apologising to sometg casual?

“Di…" Gabriel said as he stepped closer and reached out as if he wanted to hold me.

Before he could touch me‚ Isaac’s voice snapped sharply.

“She said leave‚ or don’t you understand simple English?”

Gabriel immediately turned toward Isaac with anger flashing in his eyes.

“Stay out of this‚ man‚” he said coldly. “This is between me and my fiancée.”

“Gabriel!”

My voice rose louder than I expected.

I glared at him with anger burning in my chest.

“Just go! Please just go!”

My hands trembled slightly as I spoke. The pain inside me felt too heavy to hold in anymore.

Gabriel looked shocked by my reaction. His face softened with sadness and regret.

He sighed quietly.
