Dominic stepped forward and slipped an arm around Vespera's waist, caressing her waist. He said in a hoarse voice, "I missed you too. Can I stay?"

Vespera meant to say no, but the second Dominic touched her, her body betrayed her completely. A jolt of heat raced up her spine, turning her brain to static. Her breath hitched.

Did she soak in the bath for too long? Why did one touch feel like an electric shock? What was happening?

"Vera, I…" Dominic mumbled.

Vespera cut him off and said, "Come in."

Vespera grabbed the front of Dominic's shirt and yanked him through the doorway, slamming him back against the wall.

Dominic lowered his head and kissed Vespera. Meanwhile, Snowball was nearly squashed. It tried to squeeze out from between them. It rolled across the carpet and sat a few feet away, seeing that Dominic and Vespera were stuck to each other. A while later, it let out a confused meow.

Dominic and Vespera kissed their way from the living hall to the bedroom. On the bed, they tore each other's clothes.

The air grew thick with heat and hunger, and their bodies clashed like storms ready to bring the house down. Even the bed creaked like it was praying for mercy. It was more than just passion. It was completely out of control.

By the time it was over, it was almost midnight. It was incredible, but maybe a bit too incredible.

Vespera didn't even dare to move as her waist ached badly. Her brain buzzed with static, and her ears rang. Did she max out her dopamine levels? Was this the consequence of giving in to seduction?

Vespera was seriously starting to think that the air from the castle wasn't entirely out of Dominic's system. Maybe it had just been dormant and had only woken up now because he didn't hold back at all. Then again, neither did she.

Dominic caressed Vespera's stomach and murmured, "Did I hurt you? Where does it hurt?"

His hand began to drift lower. Immediately, she hissed and opened her eyes. She slapped his hand away awkwardly and said, "Don't touch."

Dominic replied, "Let me take a look."
