Dominic pondered in silence for a moment before nodding. "I'll get Calvert to drop you off."

Vespera had her own friends and social circles she wanted to be part of. Dominic had no right to stop her.

"Sure! I'll have to trouble Calvert again." Vespera did not object. After all, the crazy Tina was on the run. Who knew where the hell she had gone?

Knowing that Calvert would be by her side, Vespera did feel more at ease as she walked out.

"Mrs. Dawson…" Dominic said thoughtfully. It was as if he had heard that name somewhere.

After reaching home, Vespera selected a flowing mint green dress that was refreshing and perfect for summer. She wore her hair in an elegant updo and had applied natural makeup. She also wore an elegant necklace that didn't seem too flashy.

Once downstairs, Calvert was already waiting for her.

"Vespera!" He waved at her. He looked so cool, dressed in a simple T-shirt and ripped jeans with holes at the knees.

After getting into the car, Vespera asked Calvert to pick up Rebecca and Yasmine. They decided to head for Rebecca's apartment first.

The sapphire blue dress Vespera chose for Rebecca was striking. Since Rebecca was tall and had delicate features, bold colors suited her appearance and chivalrous personality. As soon as she laid eyes on the dress, she remarked that Vespera knew her too well.

Since Vespera was in the backseat, Rebecca joined her in the back as well. As soon as she got in the car, she asked, "Does Mr. Reid have news about Tina? I only managed to fall asleep after having Byron stand guard at the door last night. We should have let Jade stab her to death back then!"

Vespera replied, "Don't be scared. Even if Tina's back to kill someone, you won't be her first target."

Rebecca scowled. "Did you think I won't be concerned if you're her first target? I'm more worried about that, okay?"

"The two of you don't have to worry. Mr. Reid has already figured out her escape route, so she'll eventually be caught. If she dares return, I'll crush her throat with my hand!" Calvert exclaimed in front.

Vespera and Rebecca looked at Calvert's muscles and felt assured.

Rebecca leaned toward Calvert's seat and grinned at him. "Calvert, Vespera has Mr. Reid to protect her. Why don't you protect me at night?"

Calvert agreed readily. "Sure."

Rebecca was delighted to hear his answer. She already forgot about Tina completely, causing Vespera to sigh.

A moment later, they arrived at Yasmine's estate. She wore a pink, backless, long dress, making her look sweet, sexy, and alluring. As soon as she looked at Vespera and Rebecca, both of them were taken aback by her beauty.

Yasmine opened the door to the passenger seat and got in. Calvert shot her a grin. "Hello, miss."

Yasmine set her bag down before putting on her seatbelt. She lazily hummed in response. "Oh, it's you again. You're the silly one, aren't you?"

Calvert was slightly disgruntled. "Miss, I'm quite smart."

Smart? Yasmine snorted but did not tease him any further. "Alright, Mr. Smartypants. Let's go."

After Yasmine gave an address, Calvert sped away from her estate.

At the back, Rebecca winked at Vespera as if she were asking, "Why did Calvert call her 'Miss' but refer to us by our names? He's giving her special treatment!"

Vespera winked back at her. "Just let it be. He can call her what he wants."

Rebecca puffed out her cheeks and pouted.
