Around 7:20 pm, a Rolls–Royce pulled up in front of the Fenwick estate.
Lucien stepped out of the car, followed by another person from the passenger seat.
Seeing them arrive at last, Wendy quickly walked over and affectionately to
have a seat.
Ophelia’s hand. “We’ve been waiting for you two. Come,
“Lucien, let me introduce you. This is Hattie’s son, Alexander. You two used to fight all the time when you were kids.”

Alexander narrowed his eyes as he looked at Lucien, his presence exuding a cold, distant air.
Neither of them spoke a single word. They simply stared at each other in silence.
Although they stood just a few feet apart, those nearby could sense an invisible barrier between them.
After a long pause, Hattie nudged Alexander and softly asked, “What are you spacing out for?”
Alexander merely nodded and said, “Nice to meet you.”
Lucien’s sharp gaze swept over him in silence as he walked past.
Three minutes later, Serena came down the stairs with her cane and silently took the seat at the head of the table.
Ophelia sat beside Lucien.
Serena then instructed, “Start serving.”
Lydia responded, “Yes, Mrs. Fenwick Senior.”
