Wasn't he just being led by the nose?
He scratched his head in confusion, then slapped his thigh in frustration. "I don't care if you're a part-timer or long-term, only I get to live here. Get out!"
*Clang—*
Victor casually dropped his suitcase on the floor, making a loud noise.
The aggressive man glared, watching Victor warily, anticipating his next move.
But Victor just slowly knelt down and, ignoring him, started to organize his belongings.
"Are you deaf?"
The man was furious. He strode forward to grab Victor by the collar, but before he could touch him, Victor easily sidestepped him. He then placed a hand on the man's shoulder, seemingly lightly, but it felt like it weighed a ton.
The man's face changed. His arrogant and angry expression vanished, replaced by the feeling of his legs turning to jelly.
He never thought this seemingly frail man would be so incredibly strong.
He tried to twist his shoulder to break free, but the more he struggled, the heavier the grip felt.
A slow smile spread across Victor's lips. He leaned in slightly to meet the man's eyes. "What's your name?"
His voice was gentle, like a clear mountain spring.
But the pain told the man that he was not as harmless as he appeared.
"Ke… Kemp…"
He stammered.
"Alright, Kemp." Victor nodded. "Let me ask you, have you seen this person?"
With that, he produced a photo of Domingo from between his fingers.
The man looked confused, but his eyes cleared slightly as he recognized the person in the photo.
"Well?"
