Chapter 837 Injured Lung 

Hayley’s POV: 

Hera was furious inside me, roaring to break free and teach Celine a lesson. 

I calmed her down and looked at Celine with steady, cool gaze. 

The guests around us turned to Celine and started whispering and criticizing her. 

“She’s just trying to help save her dad, and Celine’s yelling at her?” 

“Honestly, if anyone wants Gavin dead faster, it’s probably his own daughter Celine, not this young lady!” 

“I bet this girl’s been eyeing Gavin’s money for ages, just waiting for him to kick the bucket!” 

“What a disgrace! I can’t believe we’ve got someone so heartless among our high–ranking werewolves!” 

The Omega house staff beside Celine got brave and grabbed her sleeve, pleading, “Ms. Walton, please snap out of it! Do you really want Mr. Walton to die? He’s your father! Let this lady help him, please!” 

The guests chimed in, “That’s right, Celine! This isn’t okay. If your dad dies because you stopped his treatment, you’ll be responsible too!” 

Everyone crowded around, trying to talk sense into her. 

Celine glared at me, baring her sharp wolf teeth, looking ready to tear me apart. 

I just crossed my arms and watched her calmly. 

Finally, after a few seconds, she closed her eyes and gave in, letting me help. 

I could’ve ignored it all, but deep down I knew Gavin was innocent–no one jokes about their own life. 

Even if he were a stranger, I wouldn’t just stand by and watch someone die, let alone now. 

Celine will have to deal with the consequences of trying to frame me, but Gavin doesn’t 

deserve this.
